little saturdays in detroit

gather on a little saturday for garden fresh food like the soup that was so earthy and full of spring tastes. the white fish with the rye seeds and greens had such a great combination of unexpected tastes. we also shared a mushroom dish that had the morels that i love. oh and the home made bread, home made butter, and home made apple butter with a sweet and smokey taste and did i say home made? gather around one of the long tables with those you love and share a meal seated with strangers near by that might become friends or not. the owners Lea & Kyle (taking the liberty to guess at the spelling of their names) will soon be celebrating one year in business. wishing them much success. although with what they are serving up, it isn’t luck that they will need, but rather more space for more folks to gather
